  • Amino acids (from proteins) - into blood.
  • Fatty acids and glycerol (from fats) - into lymph (through lacteals).
  • Vitamins and minerals - absorbed depending on type (fat-soluble or water-soluble).
  • Water and electrolytes - also absorbed here.
