Syllabus of Class 12 UP Board for 2023-24

UPMSP is going to follow the NCERT textbooks for all the subjects present in senior secondary class 12, therefore, as a result of it, the syllabus of the UP board has also reduced in comparison to the past years syllabus.

UPMSP wants to provide students a chance to compete with the students of CBSE. The only drawback in this notion is the previous year questions will not remain referable anymore. Therefore, the students are required to study and analyse the UP board 12th class syllabus thoroughly if they want to score their dream marks in the examination.

We have provided a detailed syllabus of class 12 in the table given below, which will give you a clear understanding of what sort of topics/ subtopics might be asked in the board examination. Click on the links given beside each subject and get the detailed syllabus in the PDF format.

Years spent by students in Classes 9 to 12 are some of the most impactful years in shaping the careers of students. In these years, students learn to devise strategy for themselves with the help of syllabus provided to them which in turn helps the students in future to prepare for the competitive exams as well. They become self-reliant by doing so and this process makes them independent in dealing with the challenges that might come before them while being in the competitive environment.

Some of the tips that might be helpful for the students for deducing the perfect strategy from the syllabus are:-

  1. Collect previous years’ papers for at least 10 years and practise them.
  2. Identify the more weightage and less prominent chapters by cross checking the weightage of questions from different chapters.
  3. Differentiate the questions and chapters both into 3 categories: easy, average and tough
  4. Now, you simply need to practise the more weightage questions from easy and average categories first so that you don’t waste much of your time on trivial topics or the chapters.
