How to Calculate the Percentage for College Cut Off?
Class 12 students may need to know their final percentage to check the cut-off list of colleges. The top 5 subjects are considered while calculating the percentile. Here’s an example of calculating the class 10 & class 12 marks percentage.
Step 1: Take the top five highest marks from the marksheet:
82 + 78 + 85 + 75 + 90 = 410
Step 2: Divide total numbers (410) by 500 and multiply the final number by 100.
=> 410 / 500 × 100 = 82%
The final percentage is 82%.
