The Stress Management workshop at Modern Public School, Rishabh Vihar, Delhi, was a highly engaging two-hour session conducted by Ms. Neha Bahuguna, CBSE Resource Person, and moderated by Mr. Nishant Singh Lakra. Twenty-five educators attended, gaining actionable insights into managing stress for themselves and their students.
Ms. Bahuguna began by explaining the different forms of stress - academic, emotional, social, and situational underscoring the importance of recognizing stress triggers early. She shared practical tools including mindfulness, breathing exercises, time management techniques, and positive thinking strategies that teachers could immediately implement.
The workshop emphasized classroom interventions to create supportive learning environments and reduce undue pressure on students. Empathetic communication and enhanced student–teacher interactions were highlighted as key methods to foster stress-free classrooms.
Through interactive exercises and reflective discussions, teachers connected theoretical concepts with real-life classroom situations. Participants left the workshop equipped with strategies to manage their own stress while helping students build resilience, ultimately contributing to healthier, more effective learning spaces. The session received positive feedback, with educators appreciating the blend of theory, practical tools, and real-world application.
