Nominations/ Entries for National ICT Award for School Teachers 2020 and 2021
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notification regarding the National ICT Award for school teachers. The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India invites the nominations for the Nation ICT Awards from all over India. In total, 36 ICT awards are instituted for teachers.
From 2021 onwards, two new categories will be introduced, one for teacher educators (10 awards) and the best practising states/ UTs (3 awards). The purpose of these awards is to enhance students' learning by effective and innovative integration of technology-supported learning.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for National ICT Awards are as follows:
The contest is open to school teachers for the years 2020 & 2021.
From the year 2021 onwards the contest will be open for the teacher educators of BIETs, DIETs, CTEs, IASEs, SIEMAT, SCERT, SIEs, SIETs and colleges run by Center or State Government, UT administrations or private institutions, and SPDs/ Commissioner/ Education Secretaries of State/ UTs for best practices of ICT by respective state/ UTs.
Selection and Submission of Entry
There are some selection criteria for entry which should be fulfilled for further online registration. The criteria are as follows:
The application process will start on May 1st, 2022 and only online applications will be accepted.
School teachers, teacher educators and SPD/ Commissioners/ Secretary of school education are requested to fill out the form as per the instructions on the website.
The entries will be first evaluated by the concerned states/ UTs, and autonomous bodies (KVS, NVS, CBSE, ICSE, AEES, Sainik School).
The last date for the online application by school teachers, teachers educators, and SPDs of Samagra Shiksha in State/ UTs on the portal is June 30th, 2022 and the last date for NCERT to forward the applications is July 31st, 2022.
How to Apply for the National ICT Award

After this click on the login option and provide some details such as mobile number/ email ID, and password.
After login teachers can register to the portal for the National ICT award by giving the answers some details.
Teachers can also upload their work in PDF format or as a video on the portal.
