To promote innovation and practice-driven work in CBSE schools, the Board has laid out a clear, multi-stage procedure for shortlisting case papers for the National Teachers' Conference (NTC) 2026:

  • Step 1 - District Level Deliberations (DLDs): Schools are required to organise one-day DLD workshops on CT & AI, as directed in CBSE Notification No. TRG-2 dated 9 April 2026.
  • Step 2 - Participation in DLDs: Teachers willing to present at NTC 2026 must first take part in the CT & AI DLDs in their districts, coordinated by the District Training Coordinators (DTCs) or Sahodaya functionaries in consultation with the respective Centres of Excellence (CoEs).
  • Step 3 - Shortlisting by CoEs: The top three papers from each sub-theme will be forwarded by the CoEs for further evaluation.
  • Step 4 - National-Level Review: A National Expert Committee will assess the shortlisted papers using the evaluation criteria laid down in the Board's guidelines.
  • Step 5 - Announcement of Results: Final results will be declared one to two weeks before the conference.

Out of the selected papers, the best paper in each sub-theme will qualify for oral presentation, while the second and third best papers will feature as poster presentations during the conference.
