Volume of the substance v = 20 cm³

density of water = 1 g cm^–3

density of the substance = mass / volume

density of the substance = 50/20

density of the substance = 2.5 g cm^–3

The density of the substance is 2.5 g cm^–3 and it is greater than the density of water so. The substance will sink.
