CUET 2022 now the Sole Parameter for UG Admissions

NTA CUET (Central Universities Entrance Test) notification and examination pattern for UG admissions.

UGC declares CUET (UG) - 2022 as the Sole Assessment Parameter for Central Universities UG Admissions for the 2022-23 Academic Session.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has notified that the Central Universities Entrance Test 2022 (CUET, previously CUCET) will now be considered as the sole parameter for undergraduate (UG) admissions to Central Universities for academic session 2022-23 (under National Testing Agency (NTA) established by the Ministry of Education (MoE)).

As per the notice, registration forms will be made available ONLINE (ONLY) on the Samarth channel ( from April 2nd, 2022 to April 30th, 2022.

NTA CUET 2022 Examination Pattern

The CUET (UG) - 2022 will have 3 sections:

Section I
(Languages A and B)
40 MCQs to be attempted out of 50 in each language 45 minutes for each language
Section II
40 MCQs to be attempted out of 50 in each domain 45 minutes for each domain specific subject
Section III
(General Test)
60 Questions to be attempted out of 75 60 minutes

Section I is further divided into subsections A and B for two different languages. These are the choices offered for both:

Section IA
(13 Languages)
Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu
Section IB
(19 Languages)
French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, Chinese.

There are a total of 27 subjects offered to opt for the Domain section. They are as follows:
