On 22nd November 2025, Sant Nirankari School hosted a Teacher Training Workshop on AI in Education. The two hour session brought together 35 teachers and was led by Mr. Nishant Singh Lakra, a Master Trainer in Life Skills Education. The workshop was organized by BDM Gaurav and focused on making AI less scary and more useful for teachers in their daily work.
The workshop started with a fun ice breaker activity that got everyone energized and ready to learn. Then Mr. Lakra jumped into something really important, breaking AI myths. Many teachers think AI is super complicated, will replace teachers, or is only for tech experts. He explained that none of this is true. AI is just a tool that can help teachers do their jobs better and save time. After clearing up these misunderstandings, he taught the basics of AI, including key terms and prompt engineering. Prompt engineering sounds fancy but it just means learning how to ask AI the right questions so you get helpful answers instead of confusing ones. Then came the best part, hands on training with real AI tools. Teachers learned to use ChatGPT for writing and brainstorming, Canva for designing posters and presentations, Gemini for research and information, Napkin.AI for visual notes, School Magic for school specific tasks, and Gamma for creating presentations. Mr. Lakra showed step by step how to use each tool to create lesson plans, write reports, make storybooks for younger students, design assessments, and plan teaching schedules.
The session also covered something really important, using AI ethically and responsibly. Teachers learned what's okay to use AI for and what isn't, making sure they use these tools in the right way. The workshop ended with the most fun activity of the day. Teachers used SUNO.AI to create Hindi rap songs about themselves. The room was filled with laughter and creativity as teachers heard their own AI generated rap songs. Many teachers shared positive feedback, saying they learned so much practical stuff they could use immediately. Educart also took a moment to showcase their sample papers and explain their new board preparation strategy, giving teachers extra resources to help their students. Overall, the workshop was interactive, enjoyable, and packed with useful information that teachers could take back to their classrooms right away.
