The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET exam nationwide on Sunday, 05 May 2024, in pen-and-paper mode in 13 languages, as a common national Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) for admission to undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions.

According to the latest information revealed by NTA, 96% attendance has been recorded for this year's NEET-UG exam. The difficulty level of the paper was moderate to challenging. Students found the Physics and Organic papers challenging as the questions were lengthy, while the botany and chemistry papers were on the easier to moderate side. 

NEET 2024 Question Paper

Given below is the pattern followed for all sets of NEET 2024 exam.

  • The NEET Exam was a total of 720 marks and 3 hours and 20 minutes duration.
  • The test booklet contained 200 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology), out of which students were required to answer only 180 questions.
  • The question paper had four sets, further divided into six subsets.
  • Each question was of 4 marks and there was a 1/4 negative marking for every incorrect answer.

NEET 2024 UG Question Paper PDF
