On 11th October 2025, a major CPD Workshop on Crafting Competency Based Question Papers took place with 60 teachers gathered in the school auditorium. The paid workshop was led by Ms. Ruchi Sengar, a Master Trainer and CBSE Resource Person, with Mr. Nishant Lakra from Educart moderating the discussions. Principal Ms. Richa Sharma and Director Principal Ms. Rachna Pant were present, showing how important this training was for the school.

The workshop focused on a big change in education right now. Schools and boards are moving away from questions that just test if students remember facts. Instead, they want questions that test if students can actually think, solve problems, and use what they learned in new situations. These are called competency based questions. Ms. Sengar showed teachers exactly how to design these kinds of questions. She didn't just explain it she showed real examples of questions that work and questions that don't work. Teachers got to see why one question is better than another and how to fix weak questions to make them stronger. She broke down the whole process step by step so teachers could understand and follow along.

The best part was when teachers actually tried writing their own competency based questions. They got real feedback from experts in the room, which helped them learn even faster. Mr. Nishant Lakra also talked about the new Educart sample papers and how they use this competency based approach. This was super helpful because teachers saw exactly what students would be facing on their actual exams. The workshop was long, 5 hours and 20 minutes, but Ms. Sengar kept energy high with fun activities and even dance sessions that helped teachers stay fresh and excited. Teachers left understanding that writing good questions is actually a skill they can learn and get better at, and they now had real tools to do it.
