Collect the original marksheet from school

After the result declaration, CBSE sends the original physical marksheets, passing certificates, and migration certificates to schools. This process usually takes 2 to 3 months. Once your school receives these documents, make sure you collect the following: 

• Original marksheet - required for final college admission and job applications. 
• Passing certificate - proof that you have cleared Class 12.
• Migration certificate - required when joining a university outside your current board's region.
• Character certificate - issued by your school, required by most colleges at the time of admission. 

Apply for Re-verification of Marks  

In case a student feels that their marks are lower than expected, CBSE allows them to apply for re-verification. In this process, CBSE checks whether all the answers have been evaluated and the marks have been totalled correctly.

If a student believes that their answers have been marked incorrectly after reviewing the photocopy of their answer sheet, CBSE allows them to apply for re-evaluation. In this process, the answer sheet is re-checked by a senior examiner.
