Strategy

Among a large number of students appearing in the exam, only 3% of the total population passes the exam. So a student needs to be attentive when it comes to preparation. The most crucial aspect in passing an entrance exam is hard work and devotion, but the road or strategy you take to get there also matters. In conclusion, thorough preparation for the entrance exam might improve your chances of passing the exam. Here are some tips to help a student prepare for the exam in the best way:

  • Read the syllabus carefully: Before you begin studying, go over the entire syllabus and make a study plan based on it. Examine the areas that will appear on your exams, such as Maths, logic, and a language test.
  • Timetable is IMPORTANT: Both throughout preparation and during the exam, time management is a significant factor. Make a study schedule with at least one hour allotted for each unit or subject. Plan and allocate time to each subject based on your command of the subject.

  • Make Short Notes: Make precise notes starting from the basics of your subjects. Keep these with you so you can refer to them as needed during the preparation process. Make notes in the form of flowcharts and tables to learn the information quickly and effectively.
  • Practice Regularly: Only by practising a large number of problems at each level, whether easy, medium, or difficult, will you be able to pass the tests. If you've done enough practice, you'll be able to answer every question on your exam. For this, look for a guide or decent question banks.
  • Solve Previous Year Papers:  Solving previous year papers is important to know the paper pattern and the repetitive questions. They are helpful in letting you know how much you are prepared for the final exam. After finishing each subject, solve at least two previous year papers and a model paper each day.
  • Revise Thoroughly: After you've finished a topic, go over it again every day before moving on to the next one. You can also solve practice sets to check what you've already learned and also to know which areas need more practice.

Best Books For JNV Entrance Exam

For the class 6th entrance test, the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test includes the NCERT syllabus from Class 3rd to Class 5th, and from Class 6th to Class 8th for the class 9th entrance test.

There are numerous books in the market that promise to be "The Best," but fail to give students accurate information. Today, however, we're going to inform you about a very well-structured book that will assist pupils in passing the JNVST with ease.

Through a survey of instructors, we discovered Agarwal Examcart's Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Guide Book and Practice Sets for class 6th and 9th, so we wanted to see what's so good in the book for ourselves.

Here's what we discovered:

  1. Newly Updated Pattern: JNVST books from Agrawal Examcart have been updated to reflect the most recent entrance exam format and syllabus.
  2. Complete and easy to Understand Theory: Each chapter in the book offers a thorough theory that is simple to grasp and sufficient for students to pass the exam. It covers maths, reasoning, and English/Hindi from grades 3 to 5 for the class 6 entrance test, as well as extensive science, English, Hindi, and maths from grades 6 to 8 for the class 9 entrance exam. Students do not need to study NCERT books individually because the theory contains all of the crucial aspects from them.
  3. Chapter-wise Important Questions: The book includes questions posed by subject matter experts after the trend analysis of prior years. These are the most likely questions to appear in the forthcoming JNV.
  4. Chapter Previous Year Questions based on the Current Curriculum: The book also includes repetitive questions from previous years that are pertinent to the current syllabus so that students can have a thorough preparation for the exam.
  5. Analytical Chart: By far the best and most distinctive aspect of this book is the Analytical Chart presented in it. The most frequently asked questions from each section's topic in prior years are depicted in this graph. This chart aids students in choosing which chapter to tackle first and which themes should receive the greatest attention. This saves a lot of time for the student and allows him to focus on the vital themes.
