Invitations and Replies Class 12 have been included in the CBSE curriculum to help students with their overall growth in academic life. Learning how to draft an invitation and what and how to reply when someone receives an invitation is essential if thinking about the future.
For example, a student receives an invitation to participate in the upcoming Olympiad exam and he/she has to RSVP as soon as possible, but replying here would require a certain format.Β
The same goes when any student wants to invite his/her friends for a birthday bash, the invitation would follow a certain format too. This writing piece will cover all the important concepts from the meaning to the examples and practice questions.
Students can download this PDF for several Invitation and reply samples and practice questions.
What is An Invitation and Reply?Β
An invitation is a formal or informal message requesting someone's presence at an event or occasion - such as a wedding, birthday, school function, housewarming, inauguration, or farewell party.
Invitations can be sent in the form of a printed card, a letter, or even a personal note, depending on the nature of the event. A well-written invitation clearly conveys who is inviting, what the event is, and when and where it will take place.
