Once the facility resumes, CBSE has laid down the following priority order:

• Priority Access: Students seeking scanned copies for grievance redressal must avail the facility first.
• Archival Purposes: Students requesting copies only for archival purposes will get access after the ongoing re-evaluation process is completed.

Deadline Extended: Class 12 Scanned Answer Book Copies

CBSE has issued a fresh circular dated 19th May, 2026 informing an extension of the last date for students to apply for scanned copies of their evaluated Class 12 answer books. The extension has been made due to technical errors encountered on the official CBSE website for Post-Verification Facilities, in order to ensure sufficient time for the students.

All other terms and conditions for availing this facility are the same. Students who have not yet applied are strongly advised to make use of this extended window and submit their applications at the earliest. No further extension has been indicated by CBSE.

General Guidelines from the Official Notice

The official CBSE notice lays down the following important guidelines for students availing post-result facilities:

• The entire process, including application and fee payment, is online only. No offline applications will be accepted after the scheduled date and time.
• Processing charges can only be deposited online via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. Cash, Cheque, DD, or Money Order will not be accepted.
• Applications not submitted as per CBSE instructions will be summarily rejected without any correspondence with the candidate.
• Only a single application per step will be accepted. Candidates must decide in advance whether to apply for one or multiple subjects, as no second opportunity will be given.
• A decrease of even one mark shall be affected.
• If marks change following re-evaluation, the candidate must surrender their existing Mark Statement cum Certificate, and a new one will be issued.

The scanned copy of the answer book will be made available in the candidate's login for download on a first-come, first-served basis. Candidates may apply for single or multiple subjects, but the application must be submitted in one go and not in parts.

Once students have reviewed their scanned answer book, CBSE provides the option to proceed with verification and/or re-evaluation. The following guidelines apply:

• Only those candidates who have applied for a scanned copy of answer book(s) will be eligible for verification and/or re-evaluation.
