(a) Exocrine gland: A gland that releases its juice or secretion through a duct to some place in the body or outside.
(b) Endocrine gland: A gland that doesn’t have ducts and releases its hormone straight into the blood.
(c) Hormone: A chemical made by endocrine glands that tells different parts of the body what to do.
