For the control and coordination of complex, multicellular, and multi-organ human bodies with compound functioning, the endocrine and nervous systems are responsible. Proper growth, development, and working of different organs is regulated by the endocrine hormones (secretions), whereas for performing daily activities, the nervous system is responsible. 

The nervous system is also responsible for responding to our surroundings. The sensory information is relayed by the CNS (Central Nervoius System) after the internal and external stimuli are sensed for processing and involuntry-voluntry action generation.
