(a) Corrosion

Answer:

(a) Corrosion: Corrosion is a chemical reaction in which metals react with air, moisture or acids to form undesirable substances. Example: Rusting of iron

(b) Rancidity: The production of unpleasant smells and tastes in fatty and oily food due to the process of their natural oxidation is called rancidity. Example: air is replaced by nitrogen gas inside the manufactured chips packets.
