What Should You do if Sudden Earthquake Strikes While You are Outside?

If you experience a sudden earthquake when outdoors, find a clear spot or open area like a park or away from buildings, overhead power lines and trees to avoid them falling on your head.

If you are travelling in a bus or driving a car do not come out. Ask the driver to drive slowly or decrease the speed of the car and go to a clear and open place. Do not step out until the tremors due to the earthquake stop.

Also, remember not to light a match during an earthquake.
