Mr Ajay Kumar

Mr. Ajay Kumar is an experienced educationist and school leader with over 20 years of experience in the field of education, currently serving as the Principal of Leed’s Asian School, Patna. Over the years, he has progressed from teaching and student mentoring to school leadership, academic planning, teacher development, and institutional management.

He is a CBSE Master Trainer with the Centre of Excellence, Patna, and has conducted capacity-building programmes for teachers on areas including NEP 2020, NCF Foundational Stage, Experiential and Active Learning, Art Integration, Life Skills, School Health & Wellness, Happy Classroom, and Assessment & Evaluation Practices.

As an academic leader, he has played a significant role in strengthening teaching-learning practices and mentoring both teachers and students. Under his leadership, students have achieved notable academic and competitive accomplishments, including district toppers, JEE Main and JEE Advanced achievements, national-level recognition in the CBSE Science Exhibition, and National Children’s Science Congress selections. He has also served as a CBSE Surprise Inspector and Inspection Committee Member, providing him with practical exposure to school quality standards, academic processes, and institutional compliance.

Known for his interactive, practical and learner-centred approach, Mr. Kumar believes that professional development should go beyond theoretical knowledge and help teachers translate ideas into effective classroom practices. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in English and continues to work extensively in the areas of teacher development, experiential learning, inclusive education, school leadership, communication skills and 21st-century learning.
