Explain the meanings of malleable and ductile.

Answer:

The property of metals due to which they can be converted into sheets by beating them with a hammer is called malleability. Example - gold, silver, aluminium, copper etc.

The property of metals due to which they can be drawn into wire is called ductility. Example - gold, silver, aluminium, copper.
