If x3+x5=1615\frac{x}{3} + \frac{x}{5} = \frac{16}{15}, find the rational number xx.

Answer: Verified

Take LCM 15 on LHS:

5x+3x15=1615\frac{5x + 3x}{15} = \frac{16}{15}

8x15=1615\frac{8x}{15} = \frac{16}{15}

⇒8x=16\Rightarrow 8x = 16

⇒x=2.\Rightarrow x = 2.
