Dr Suchismita Sinha is a consultant and practicing psychologist. She is a Doctorate in the subject from the University of Calcutta. Present Faculty and Former HOD at the Department of psychology, Sarojini Naidu College for Women. She is the President of Foundation for stress management and research. She is the Vice-president of Search Within an NGO working towards psycho- education and wellbeing.

She is the editor of an international publishing house. She has won national and international awards like Ishwar Chandra Shiksha Ratna award, Banga Gaurav Samman and so on for her contribution in the field of mental health. She is also an acclaimed professional classical dancer and has her own school called Suchi's Dance Art.
