Show that the triangle formed by a chord and the centre of the circle is isosceles.                           [Page No. 100]

Let AB be a chord of a circle with centre O. Consider triangle OAB.

OA = OB (both are radii of the circle).

A triangle having two equal sides is an isosceles triangle.
