Question:

Using the same identity (Q.1.), find the values of the following:

(A) (64)2(64)^2

(B) (105)2(105)^2

(C) (205)2(205)^2                                                [Page No. 72]

Answer: Verified

(A) (60+4)2=602+2(60)(4)+42(60 + 4)^2 = 60^2 + 2(60)(4) + 4^2

=3600+480+16=4096= 3600 + 480 + 16 = 4096

(B) (100+5)2=10000+1000+25=11025(100 + 5)^2 = 10000 + 1000 + 25 = 11025

(C) (200+5)2=40000+2000+25=42025(200 + 5)^2 = 40000 + 2000 + 25 = 42025
