Question:

The perimeter of a circle is 44 cm. What is its radius?                                                                                             [Page No. 129]

Answer: Verified

Perimeter (circumference) = 2πr=442\pi r = 44

44=2×227×r44 = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r

44=447×r44 = \frac{44}{7} \times r

r=44×744r = 44 \times \frac{7}{44}

r=7 cmr = 7 \text{ cm}
