(B) (193)2(193)^2

(C) (299)2(299)^2                             [Page No. 75]

Answer: Verified

(A) (801)2=8022×80×1+12(80 - 1)^2 = 80^2 - 2 \times 80 \times 1 + 1^2

=6400160+1=6241= 6400 - 160 + 1 = 6241

(B) (2007)2=20022×200×7+72(200 - 7)^2 = 200^2 - 2 \times 200 \times 7 + 7^2

=400002800+49=37249= 40000 - 2800 + 49 = 37249

(C) (3001)2=30022×300×1+12(300 - 1)^2 = 300^2 - 2 \times 300 \times 1 + 1^2

=90000600+1=89401= 90000 - 600 + 1 = 89401
